Withdrawals in Chile (CLP)
Send Chilean pesos to a checking or sight account by bank transfer: the request, the Chilean beneficiary, whole-peso amounts, validation errors and statuses.
Withdrawals in Chile send Chilean pesos (CLP) from your balance to a Chilean bank account — a
checking account (cuenta corriente) or a sight account (cuenta vista) — by bank
transfer. The account holder is identified by their RUT.
The cycle is the same as in Withdrawals: only the beneficiary changes. Instead of a CLABE and a Banxico code, you send the account number, its type, the bank's institution id and the holder's RUT.
Tonder picks the rail. The institution that executes the transfer is resolved by Tonder from your account's configuration. You don't need to know it or build logic on it.

Amounts
CLP has no decimal part. Send amount as a whole number of pesos, as a number or a string:
50000 or "50000" means CLP 50,000. A fractional amount, such as 50000.50, is rejected with
400.

The request is rejected with 400, before any approval, when:

currency isn't "CLP" | "currency": "USD" |
amount has a decimal part | "amount": "50000.50" |

Statuses
A withdrawal in Chile is Pending when it's created. Once it's approved — by you or by an
automatic-approval rule — the transfer is sent, and the final status reflects the result:
| Status | Meaning | Webhook |
|---|---|---|
Pending | Created. Waiting for approval | withdrawal_Pending |
Success | The transfer completed | withdrawal_Success |
Failed | The transfer was rejected, failed or was returned. The withdrawal carries decline_code and decline_reason, for example GS01 · General system error | withdrawal_Failed |
A returned transfer ends as Failed in Chile, not as Returned as in Mexico. Reconcile every
Failed withdrawal as money that didn't reach the beneficiary, and read decline_reason for the
cause.
After creation
Everything after the request works as in Withdrawals: the response
with its two identifiers, id and withdrawal_id; approval;
queries; and the webhooks.
Withdrawals in Chile are created through the unified endpoint, POST /api/v1/process/.
